Group dynamics while writing the script

My group is working alright. Writing the script is hard in a group because everyone has different ideas as to how the plot would move, resulting in huge continuity issues. I personally write my scripts where everyone sounds the same which takes away the depth and development of a character, thats why I hoped we could all contribute. This was an issue because not everyone does the same workload and I have a job along with everyone else meaning there was a lot of pressure on each other at certain times. 
The main weakness we worked around was time management and trying to keep everyone from sounding the same. The main thing I learned is that we all have to put in our input but agreement on one idea is very important because its the only way we can get one specific plot line together.
